Fee Types

Creation Fee (Primary Platform Revenue)

Charged to the merchant, drawn from their dedicated fee wallet on the Solana blockchain.

fee = max(cheque_amount × creation_fee_pct / 100 + creation_fee_flat, creation_fee_min)

• Default: 2.0% + 0.25 USDC flat, 0.25 USDC minimum
• Fee is charged separately from the cheque amount — recipient always gets the full cheque value
• Collected automatically via SPL token delegate when the cheque is funded
• This is the platform’s revenue, separate from the issuer-merchant distribution economics\

Claim Fee (Optional)

Charged to the end-user recipient, deducted on-chain from the transfer amount.

net_received = cheque_amount - (cheque_amount × claim_fee_pct / 100 + claim_fee_flat)

• Default: 0% (disabled)
• Enabled per-merchant via fee tier configuration\

Changelly Markup (Exchange Spread)

Applied to Changelly crypto-to-USDC conversions.

source_amount_user = changelly_quoted_source × (1 + markup_pct / 100)

• Default: 0% — embedded in exchange rate, not shown as a separate fee

Bridge Developer Fee (Fiat Onramp)

Applied to Bridge.xyz USD→USDC transfers.

bridge_fee = transfer_amount_usd × bridge_developer_fee_pct / 100

• Default: 0%
• Bridge.xyz collects natively via the developer_fee parameter and remits to platform
• Stored in bridge_transfers.developer_fee_usd\

Gas Fee (Platform Cost, Not Revenue)

~0.005 SOL sent automatically from the system wallet to each funded cheque.
