# Platform Invoice States

Invoices use the following state transitions:

* **draft → issued → paid** — normal path
* **draft → void** — pre-payment error
* **issued → void** — exceptional post-issuance error; use a credit note if already paid

Payment status values:

* **unpaid**
* **paid**
* **overdue**
* **waived**
