# Document Types in Distribution

> **Critical distinction**: The **Settlement Statement** is a distribution document (face value settlement between issuer and agent). The **Platform Invoice** is a service fee document (infrastructure costs charged by the platform operator). These are different documents, different legal relationships, different amounts.
